Macro commands in WoW the Slash commands. Macros in WoW are a set of slash commands that can be run in a group to perform a series of actions.

Macros can be created and have action bar Icons associated with them, and thus can also have key bindings, so that the sets of commands can be run by clicking buttons or pressing keys.
