Current wiki contributions are:
Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0)
This means that:
- By contributing you agree that your contributions are available in perpetuity under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0.
- For persons coping those contributions, they agree to abide by the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license.
Unless otherwise noted, all wiki user contributions become permanently a part of that particular content and are licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0, and subsequently will be usable by others according to the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. This is necessary for the functioning of the wiki.

Wiki content[edit]
All user contributions to this wiki through the wiki as a regular, non-staff or non-admin, wiki user will automatically fall under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0, and that page will implicitly convert as a whole to CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 for the copyright license terms for that page in perpetuity. Pages with no significant contributions are not CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 and remain all rights reserved.
Some key pages and files, and other types of content, are necessarily not intended for editing or distribution or CC licensing, and stay All Rights Reserved by the wiki or copyright holders or other parties. These pages will be locked or have a note. Any pages accidentally left unprotected that were not intended for contribution will be reverted to prior state and protected, with the contribution left unused unless the contributor expressly agrees otherwise to allow it.
Whole page or other contributions where the user in the general case does not desire release their work under under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0, such as wanting to retain all rights, signal that it's offered to the public domain, or contribute to AddOn Studio proper, must let me know so that the page can be restricted or augmented, or incorporated into AddOn Studio materials not under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0, and to ensure the proper notice is placed.
Prior contributions[edit]
Some older wiki contributions are available as:
Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported (CC BY-SA 3.0)
Those contributions remain CC BY-SA 3.0 (Unported). Depending on ones interpretation of the CC licenses, are either perpetually at that previous last revision under CC BY-SA 3.0, or all revisions are automatically under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 after the next contribution. Regardless, its assumed here, that if the prior work is still CC BY-SA 3.0, that the final product of any new alterations by contribution here become, and are, licensed CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. This means that any conveyance from here of the old work must follow CC BY-SA 3.0 (Unported). Any conveyance from here of a further altered work must follow CC BY-NC-SA 4.0.
Contributor rights[edit]
Keep in mind that just because you contribute under a CC license, this does not take away any rights you have to your own contributions, and you can still distribute and alter text you write any way you wish, just as as before. You are just giving others the right to further copy, alter or display, the resultant combined work here under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. This is also necessary for a collaborative community wiki to function, as it would be impossible to remove underlying changes after many successive subsequent changes by others, and allows for a stable base of knowledge that others can cite in perpetuity.
