WTF is a Blizzard file extension, and is an acronym for World of Warcraft Text File.[1] The most notable of this type is config.wtf or realmlist.wtf. It is also the name of the directory in your World of Warcraft directory that contains these types of files.
Also stands for "what the f**k", used to show displeasure or outrage at a person or circumstance.
