Summary[edit]

UI Customization stands for User Interface Customization, which is the general term for customizing primarily the visible 2D user controls, panels and other overlay elements in a game. Examples of 2D user interface elements include: action bars, mini-map frames and icons, heads-up displays, dialog boxes, login screens, chat, and most screen text. World of Warcraft allows its user interface to be customized using AddOns where anyone can create an AddOn to change or add to the default interface.
