UI or User Interface is an industry term for the part of something that a person actually interacts with. In computer software it usually means the layer of buttons and windows as a part of the program. In computer games it usually means the similarly interactive 2D part of a game window itself, vs. the actual game world visuals in 2D or 3D.
In WildStar the UI or User Interface is self customizable by the user and modifiable through user Macros and AddOns.
The original beta UI received an update mid April 2014 to version 2.0 that took the pyramid look of the action bars and made them more linear. Several new features were added as well.
