WoW API < IsEquippableItem

Returns 1 if item is an equip-able one at all, your character notwithstanding, or nil if not.

result = IsEquippableItem(itemId or "itemName" or "itemLink")

Arguments[edit]

(itemId or "itemName" or "itemLink")
itemId
Integer - The numeric ID of the item. ie. 12345
itemName
String - The Name of the Item, e.g. "Heavy Silk Bandage"
itemLink
String - The itemLink, when Shift-Clicking items.

Returns[edit]

result
1 if equip-able, nil otherwise.
