MPQ, or "MoPaQ" supposedly derived from Mike O'Brien Pack, is a proprietary data archive file format developed by Blizzard Entertainment and used in World of Warcraft.
For the WoW Warlords of Draenor expansion, MPQ was replaced by the newer CASC archive format.
